Master/Philosophy

In our work the question of leadership often comes up. What is leadership? What defines a good leader? Can anyone be a leader? What are the responsibilities of leadership and what are leadership responsibilities? If everyone is a leader, then who is following? Can it be taught or is it a natural gift? And so on...

Our philosophy is that leadership can be elegantly defined as the willingness to pursue insight and the aptitude to translate relevant insights to actions that result in something of value that didn't exist before. This definition of leadership applies as much to personal leadership as it does to organizational leadership. It means that we can choose when and how we want to lead and it means that we define our strength as a leader not by the number of people we can command, or woo over to our way of thinking, but by how well we are able to recognize insights and translate them to action.

The i2a Leadership Formula is built to support that process of insight to action in three important domains: flexible, future-minded thinking (strategic thinking), continued personal growth and self-awareness (strength based leadership) and the ability to inspire others (engage-your-network).

"We are beyond the industrial, informational and technological revolutions. We are now entering a revolution of human potential. In this era, autonomy, mastery and purpose are basic human rights, not privileges of rank and seniority."
