- Gretchen Pisano
"Leadership can be defined as the willingness to pursue insight and the wherewithal to translate relevant insights to actions that result in something of value that didn't exist before. This makes leadership a choice and available to anyone who wants to learn."
As a result of my training I have...
•Learned how to assess my strengths and goals to make a plan for the
future.
•Identified what my strengths are and how to leverage them to lead better;
how to ask pointed questions and think critically.
•Learned how to easily build a vision and translate it into tangible action
points.
•A process for thoroughly thinking about a perceived problem or
opportunity and putting in to place an effective action plan.
•Ways to get people thinking and talking and ways to move those items
to action plans.
•Positivity is different from finding the silver lining – leading is possible if you
learn how and are willing.
•Learned how to take a grandiose idea and put it into more
accomplishable terms/action items.
•I learned a lot about myself and why I think and act the way I do. It is
important to me because it allowed me to think deeper into why I am me.
It also showed me that I have great leadership talents that I can share
with others.
•I plan to focus more on empowering those under my direct supervision and
become as focused on their success and growth as accomplishing the
task at hand.
•I realized that I will be a stronger leader if I try not to lead on my own, but
to build a team to do it with me; importance of fresh ideas & new insights.
